44 Billing, Operational & Finance Team Members Earn Certified Ambulance Coder™ National Credentials

Priority OnDemand extends a huge congratulations to 44 members of the Revenue Cycle Management team, including pre-bill, post-bill, DQA, operations and finance professionals, who recently earned national ambulance coder certification.

The National Academy of Ambulance Compliance (NAAC) Certified Ambulance Coder™ training is the nation’s first formal educational program for experienced and new ambulance industry billers and coders. NAAC Certified Ambulance Coder® education represents the industry’s gold standard of excellence in compliance, ethics, and integrity in all facets of ambulance billing and compliance.

Certified Ambulance Coder™ (CAC) training and certification includes the study of patient care report review process; selecting procedure codes; diagnosis/condition codes and modifiers; filing ambulance claims; payment, follow-up, appeals and review process; and internal claim auditing. The CAC course also meets the standards for accreditation through the Commission on Accreditation of Ambulance Services.
