Priority OnDemand Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) Program

Since the founding of Priority Ambulance in 2013 and our subsequent growth to a family of companies operating in 14 states across the country, we have been steadfastly focused on meeting the needs of our stakeholders – employees, communities, customers and patients. Our business has evolved and matured in that time, and in 2023, we adopted a formal, comprehensive Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) program benchmarked to the tenets of the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) across our business.

Within the SASB framework, our ESG Working Group regularly addresses diversity, equity and inclusion, employee well-being, business ethics, risk management, energy management and board independence, among many other areas of importance. Our ESG Working Group includes a cross-functional team of executive leaders, including our chief executive officer, representing operations, human resources, supply chain, regulatory compliance, marketing communications, finance, investor relations and facilities with responsibility for developing and promoting our ESG/sustainability strategy and implementing and managing strategic sustainability initiatives.

Environmental Commitment

We are committed to responsible environmental practices that include conservation of natural resources, pollution prevention and reduction of waste. The sustainability of our operations is central to sustained value creation, growth and resilience. We are committed to creating environmental responsibility with our employees, our fleet of vehicles and other partners and to encouraging them to reduce consumption of natural resources and apply an ethical approach to disposal efforts.

Diverse, Equitable and Inclusive Culture

Priority’s internal policies and procedures promote a diverse, equitable and inclusive culture. Recruiting, retention and our career progression initiatives all seek to reduce disparities that exist in our industry as they pertain to underrepresented minorities, particularly women and people of color. We embrace diverse viewpoints and perspectives and recognize that greater inclusion fosters innovation and achieves better decision-making and operational results.

We aim to track our employee base by representation of members in underrepresented groups and plan to review this annually and include the date in our annual ESG report. We work with our human resources recruiting partners to strive for job searches to include diverse representation and make every effort to consider employee candidates from underrepresented groups. We will attempt to not only hire more effectively from underrepresented groups, but also to advance the careers of people from within our organization from underrepresented groups. Our objective is to do our part to reduce disparities of leadership within our company and within our industry.

We believe in upholding the principles of human rights, worker safety and observing fair labor practices within our company and within our supply chain. We are committed to the health and safety of our employees and track safety metrics in all of our locations and nationally.

Highest Standards of Governance

Priority OnDemand is committed to achieving excellence in our sustainability practices and to establishing a strong ESG foundation for the long-term success of the company. We emphasize a culture of accountability and conduct our business in a manner that is fair, ethical and responsible to earn the trust of our stakeholders. We also maintain robust risk management programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations governing ethical business practices.

We are committed to operating our company with the highest standards of ethics and integrity, ensuring diversity and inclusion, supporting communities and safeguarding the health and safety of our employees. We express this commitment through transparency, engagement and consistent communication of our ESG strategies and programs to all stakeholders.
