The Loudon County Commission unanimously voted Monday to renew its contract with Priority Ambulance. The new agreement extends the partnership for an additional five years, ensuring the company will continue to provide exclusive emergency and non-emergency medical services to Loudon County and the cities of Loudon and Lenoir City.
“Priority Ambulance has shown itself to be a reliable and committed partner to our community,” said Loudon County Mayor Buddy Bradshaw. “They constantly go above to meet the needs of the community, and their professionalism and responsiveness are exceptional. For example, after hearing about the need for wheelchairs at the County Annex, Priority donated two wheelchairs for public use without hesitation. This is just one of the many examples of their dedication to improving the lives of our residents.”
Priority Ambulance has served Loudon County since 2015, operating from four stations strategically located throughout the area. Beyond its core medical transportation services, the company is deeply engaged in community initiatives to enhance public health and safety.
“It has been an honor to serve the people of Loudon County and the cities of Loudon and Lenoir City,” said Travis Estes, EMS Director for Priority Ambulance in Loudon County. “We are grateful for the trust placed in us and look forward to continuing to provide the community – our friends and neighbors – exceptional care and service.”
Priority Ambulance’s community contributions include providing free standby medical services at local events such as sporting competitions, festivals, and parades. The company has installed Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) throughout Loudon County and conducts annual AED and CPR training. Priority has also equipped local public safety agencies with LUCAS CPR devices and other lifesaving tools while offering annual, first responder training to support emergency preparedness countywide.
“Our commitment goes beyond responding to emergencies—we’re here to support the overall health and safety of Loudon County,” added Estes. “From placing lifesaving equipment in schools to partnering with local agencies, we are proud to be an integral part of this community.”
